lyrics

On the Hook

I saw the gypsy woman
and drank her rum and coke;
You'll never be a dream, she said,
till you go up in smoke.

I saw the country doctor
and I showed him my star;
You're sick of rock-and-roll, he said,
haul out your old guitar.

I'm walking on the clouds,
I'm on the hook all right;
I'll kick you in the morning,
oh love me up tonight.
